Flukes. Watch for extra symptoms like gill clamping, twitching and heavy breathing. Treat with RO fresh water dip or get praziquantel (maxi-lint) from a vet and treat. 10ml per 20 gallons/80 litres. It will kill every worm in your tank and crustaceans might be affected. It is reef safe, but I don't trust any med you put in a tank.

Be warned, flukes can be deadly

Ok fresh water dip for how long and that means stripping tank to catch the fish which will be a mission and I'm sure it will stress the fish more. What exactly is gill clamping ?

well we never said it was going to be easy :whistling:

Gill clamping is the strong closing of the gills

No more than 5 minutes. Watch the fish. RO must be at same pH and temp as tank. Raise pH by using bicarb or using aquavitro balance.
