    Hi all,

During the "looking at rock for an abnormal amount of time phase" aka Cycling I have noticed all sorts of things which I am comfortable with. There are two things I am not sure of.

Number 1: The armadillo - its the only way to explain, its a slight light green has a armadillo type shell, haven't seen it before (and yes I have looked in that little cracks before ;)) can anyone ID:

Number two: Seems to be all over my Tonga rock I have a 3kg and 2kg branch. They look red bumpy and like a sponge not sure. This is a really bad pic as it's a cell phone pic :( I can try get a clear one tomorrow if its not good?

Its a Chiton, plate like pieces that overlap each other. They sit extremely tight on the rock and once it sense that you want to take it off, they just grab the rock harder. They are vegatarian and a nice hitch hiker.

I believe the 1st is a chiton, common and cute, nice find

Ditto. And I agree with others who have said the first thing looks like a chiton. Chitons are awesome too.
