Hey guys I recently got a dog face puffer fish and I’m worried he might have ich but I am not sure...What does it look like?

And if it is Ich what would be the best cure?
His very active and eats like a campion

How many fish do you have in the tank? You will need to quarantine all of them and let tank go fallow for 2-3 months to be sure it is completely gone. In my experience it is fighting a losing battle trying to keep white spot out, I always try but could never keep it out 100%. Now I just live with it, my one puffer specifically is about the only fish that gets it every now and then. So if you can keep water quality up so that fish’s immune system can be good enough to fight white spot it might be best to leave it. But in future you will have to quarantine everything, white spot is one thing, but you get a lot more diseases that will kill your fish.
