Is this a bristle worm?

    Is this a bristle worm? I got this on the same LR as the aptasia. Really dont like this LFS.

    These guys are good .. I got tones in my refugium in my tank not many cos my fish chow them

    lots will happen in this hobby and with alot of it the lfs cant always be to blame,what you encounted so far in your marine journey is pretty normal and can happen at even the most 'worshiped' lfs

    my point is when you get live rock from any store it will most probably have bristle worms ,pods etc.. its all quite normal and not a bad thing that the store did .. even if you quarantine for a year.. whats normal is normal..

    This is the same LFS that told me playsand will leech phosphate and cause algae outbreak. Also heared of some people buying their LR and causing a tank crash.

    This is a big problem with buying liverock. Rock taken out of the ocean will always come with things that don't go well in our tanks, like crabs aiptasia etc. To avoid this you could only add dry/dead rock to your system. Or dip the rock to kill some of the nasty things.
    Shop assistants are expected to become experts in a short space of time and it's impossible to learn everything so quickly, hence there sometimes being not so correct info being given out. And that's where forums become useful.
