    Hi,
My Blonde Naso is not her usual self. this morning she refused to take food. Even her favourite fish roe she did not take. She is hanging around her favourite rock and not really interested in swimming around as usual. I noticed her anus is a bit "stretched open" ....:eek: for lack of a better explanation. She normally really eats like a pig.. Anything that falls into the tank....
    Could she be constipated?

She has no marks on her and was normal yesterday.

Hey Helga, I had a similar problem with Morris my clown trigger, his rear end was also stretched quite a bit, she may have eaten something that was not digested and is causing a blockage, leave her for a day or two and see if it remedies by itself before you try to intervene..

gman....That exactly what her "spot" ;) looks like. See... she pigs out on caulerpa...and when she poops it comes out whole pieces. Its not digested at all. She was pooping big pieces a minute ago!!!!! Jipeeeee.... Still did not take food now...but it looks promising..shes moving around the tank more...

    Haha
it reminds me when my son was a baby...the excitement when he made a poop after being constipated...

Exactly what I thought Kunhardt. It seems its not digesting enough. It comes out undigested, one would think all the rouphage would prevent constipation. What I will do in future is to only give small pieces. Enough between the Tangs so that she does not over eat.
