Hi,last night I noticed weird 2 minute noodle looking things on the back of my sea urchin, this morning when I took the pics, they were still there,is my urchin taking a big poo,or is this something else. He is fine and is moving all around doing his usual thing.

I have 3 urchins and that does not seem like a dump. When they dump It looks like gravel coming out of the top of them.

I think your urchin is releasing sexual gametes into the water for reproduction.

Ok,so if he/she is excreting these gametes for reproduction,it ovbiosly means he/she is happy. What would my next move be? Should I put one of my other urchins on top of or below him/her? Is there any favoured position urchins like to reproduce? Lol. Or just leave it up to nature.
