is my lights enough

    hi guys just wundering if my tank lights are good bright enough for a mix reef the depth is 45cm ive got 2xblue bulbs 1x pink 1x white all are t5 FHO 54watt and 1x 10000k 150w MH in the center does not spread the hole length of the tank just in the middel . i did this so i can have a high light area in my center and a low light are on the out sides .the idea behind this is so i can have low light corals at the top of the tank if i want just on the out side and strong light coarals center top or bottem so do i need more light or not ????or will this do pics below

    should do. you can keep sps with that light, you may have to work on the colour though

    the pics are a bad quilty in person it look a 100000000 x better

    Lighting will be fine in a tank so shallow. I wouldn't stress. You can actually do away with the MH (your choice obviously) and remove one blue T5 and replace it with a 15K Geisiman. Even SPS will thrive under that lighting.

    looks a bit white. What actinic tubes do you have there?

    that white light is cool for growth, but more blue makes the tank look awesome and makes colours pop.. Maybe later on replace the mh with a 20k blv globe or ramp up the actinics

    Is the pink bulb anygood or a wast of tym

    pink makes reds pop I believe, not to sure. The BLV 20k is like a crisp white with a blue tinge. Looks really nice. That will make colours pop nicely.

    Ok cool will but as you can see in the pic the MH does not spead far only in the center will this matter and I only put it on now and then may be 2hr a day
