    Hi guys

Is there any risk on adding a ultraviolet LED light to my lighting system.
Think it would bring the colours out so much more.
If it's Ok, can it run with the white light and with the moon light.
    Thanx

I see a few doing it, so guess it might be ok... I know that using a back light those t8 are harmful, can make your fish blind?

Don't want to use a harsh black light.or should I say to much of a strong one.
Just low watt led to enhance the colours of the fush and coral.

    I have a 450cube. 91l.
Have two 5w 6500k each white led light.
    With 2 royal blues.
But I want to bring the colours out so I'd only add one UV LED

Only problem is that the manufacturers call the UV LED's as they arnt UV....they are True Violet or Hyper violet.....so there is no harm in adding them....infact they are lovely over a tank....making colors pop nicely....

Its not the UV lightspectrum as found in UV steriizers etc....
