I got a copperband this week-end and until now, my foxface has been fairly shy, that is no more. The two of them seem to have made buddies with one another right away and do everything together. If 1 hides, so does the other, if 1 eats, so does the other, if 1 just swims around...basically everything together. Even sleep under the same rock next to one another, never seen this sort of thing before.

Is this sort of close relationships normal between different species?

Also got a fox-face that was alone for a while, then added a Copperband and they became mates. Not quite as chummie as yours but they did stay together most of the time. Just slept in different crevices. Now I have added a lot more fish and they dont spend time together anymore. Quite a shame really,as it was a nice friendship.

I doubt that I will be adding many more fish for some time in the future, it is just interesting how these two have teamed up so well. I never expected it. Even more so that the Foxy has left his/her old crevis in the rocks and they both sleep together under an overhang...

For once I am pleased with ongoings in my tank, not asking for help specifically

I reckon we got to look out for the interbreeding thing...I might end up with Foxbands or Copperfoxes or something really out there

You know that interbreeding doesn't stop in humans, it happens in the wild too...Lions and bucks get it on every day, when a lion catches a buck, we all know the buck is poked

There is a long story to how the Zombie Clam first came to be, however I prefer to be known by my actual name opposed as Zombie or ZC.
I am also neither a Zombie nor a Clam nor have one...It is personal preference to have my name opposed to an object.

And there is another reason for a good change.

My mind has gone to so many REALLY weird places with the idea of a Zombie Clan...

Has my user name automatically re-adjusted in the "Friends List" or do you guys need to reassign me there? On my side everything is exactly the same, other than the name change
