    hey,

My starfish is a little bit strange to say the least... He has been in my system for 6 months or so, and every day, when somebody walks past, they say "hey, your starfish is dead!!"

I am so tired of hearing it, but can't blame them either: he is always sitting in the strangest positions... he looks retarded! but a few hours later he is looking retarded on the other side of the tank!

i have kept brittle stars before, but never these so please would somebody enlighten me: is somthing wrong or is he feeding/chilling/whatever!

Is this star at your home or at work .... If at work then it explains alot and should be natural for him to behave like that:lol: .... Come to think of it even if he is at your home all it means is that you take your work home with you:tt2: Seriously though my stars do the same .... maybe its just the way they move .... dont think anything wrong with them .....

Hahahaha, maybe you should give him a few bottles of black label. Guy is depressed man. Can't blame him though, looks like he's hit "rock bottom " ;-)

I noticed that in the sea star display at Ushaka that the sea stars did the same except that they bent back at the waters surface

Hey, my blue star does the same thing. I used to worry about it and wonder if he was dead. Now as long as he moves every now and then I just leave him alone
