The link isn't working for me, but I would have to say no if it is a flatworm. They won't harm anything until they get out of control and start to smother your coral. They are a PITA to get rid of once they are out of control. You also need to be careful when you treat your tank for flatworms as they release toxins.

Hmmm, somehow I don't think we are thinking of the same thing. If you moved it to your sump and you can still find it, it is likely not a flatworm. Bristle worm perhaps?

I would personally get rid of it. Freeze it to euthanise it...

Most are extremely food-specific and very few can last for long. Wait to see what Brenda says - if she can find any info on this one. But more likely it will just starve and perish - releasing toxins. Or its eating something you dont want it to! ;-) Hehehe. Do you have anything orange in your tank?

When did you see it - and when was the last possible chance that it couldve gotten into your tank? How big is it?

According to the link it is a Orange Flatworm (Phrikoceros baibaiye), never seen or heard of these before.

I sent a message to Lynn from wetwebmedia, but would also like @sihaya to take a look at it.

Hmm... I don't want to say anything without a picture of the actual critter OP has. These things can look so different in different pics, in different conditions, under different light. OP is just saying it looks like th Phrikoceros sp. But I think we need a pic of the actual critter (if OP can get one).

    From Lynn:

Hey Brenda! I'm inclined to believe that *if* the creature looks exactly like what's pictured, then it could well be the Phrikoceros sp. mentioned. The size given seems to be in the right range, but I'm with Sara about wanting to see a photo of the actual critter to be sure. Regardless, if it were me, I'd get rid of it the next time I saw it. I wouldn't, though, tear the tank apart to find it.
