    Money well spent. Mine was put through its paces last Saturday. Lasted the full 8 hour duration.:thumbup:

    I bought it from Africa power solutions in Dunswart.Its a pure sinewave inverter.

    I think its a gr8 inverter. It works well even with my chiller connected to it!

    Mine looks exactly the same, just got it from a different supplier. I think true sine wave is the way to go.

    Just remember the more you have connected to it the shorter time frame it will last. I just had my return, a heater and a single Seio running on it.

    Yeah I agree, I just tested it a bit.Mine is working at a 22% load.

    I paid R3100-00 for the inverter and R950-00 for a 102ah deep cycle battery.

    Agree as you will definately spend more than that on your livestock. I settled on a deep cycle battery with a 12V pump and relay and it cost about R1600 excluding the charger off course. I test the system on a weekly basis for about 20seconds just to see that everything is still fine;)
    Does that inverter setup also charge the battery connected to it?
