Invert ID

    Please ID this feather duster kind of invert,

    Had a really small 1 in my tank a while back. very interesting to watch.

    No no, totally different,

    Those feather like fingers curl up and actually goes into it's mouth and comes out.

    It's a feather-star.
    not a worm, but echinoderm like starfish.

    does it move around the tank or stay on the same spot like most feather dusters? ... cos it looks like a sea lilly to me

    if its a sea lilly you will see its legs/feet under holding itself up

    Beautiful to watch in tank. Only problem, they do not last long in a tank. Longest I could keep one alive, was about 4 months.... Sad.

    Really? was it a big 1? wonder why they soo hard to keep...

    Mine was about the size off a 5c coin.
