    Hi everyone,

After a lot of research we decided go ahead and get a reef tank. It is in its fourth week of cycling now with LR from my LFS.

Only problem is that this LR came with at least 10 crabs that I have seen, who knows how many more are hiding in the depths of the rock.

I have tried the glass with brine shrimp, but they are not interested as the tank has lots of algae at the moment and they are eating that and ignoring the food in the glass.

Last night I tried taking pieces out and hunting them but I can't get to them.

    Any other bright ideas?

    Thanks

you could mix SW with a SG of 1.030 and submerge the rock in it. The crabs supposed to come out

    what i did was..

get a container big enough to hold the pieces in aon individual spaces and not ontop of one another.then add water to the height of about 1cm and lay the rocks in the container, close the container with a towel/blanket so its nice and dark.every half hour open kwicky and check if they vacated to rock in search of water and be prepared to kwickly remove the ones who did,its very effective, but u need to be very patient
