When you cannot find a flipper (or parts) at a store near you:

My tank is a bit big to easily use a standard turkey baster, so I added a large plastic straw to the big one and a piece of that hard tubing from my RO unit to the small one, this lets me target feed mysis and cyclops respectively without putting my whole arm in the tank.
I wanted to put kalkwasser paste on some hard to reach aptasia, so I extended a syringe with a piece of airline tube and a piece of that hard RO tubing on the end. This lets my one hand control the flow and the other position the outlet on the difficult to reach spots where the aptasia normally lurk.
