In need of a light...

Hey guys, thx for the advice managed to get a zetlight 7300.
It has amazing spread.
Thinking of trying some sps definetly.

Thinking of trying some sps definetly.
You need to raise those lights up higher to get the light to blend more. At the moment you've got the discoball effect going on there.

Be careful not to run the channels, specifically the red, too high or you're going to burn things quickly
 
OK thx I will lower the red channel and increase the blue channels to help with giving it a more even spread of light.
 
It's not quite that simple, overpowering blue can be just as bad. Your tank is shallow and the lights are strong, so you need to watch your corals closely for signs of stress. You might want to see what others with a similar setup have their percentages on :)
