    hi guys.

i got into this hobby around a year ago.
got myself a neat little tank, and now a year down the line my stand.
made from 'cardboard' wood is vrot from evaporation that happened in my sump.
thus i am currently running the major risk of my tank collapsing at any moment..
the tank is not worth spending the money on replacing the stand with metal. so i think it is best to rather look into a different system.

i would like a full system.
i.e. hood tank, sump, cabinet, maybe even lights.
it just has to be operational.

i pride myself on keeping a neat looking system.
and thus the tank i am looking for would have to be a neat operating system.

if anyone is looking to get rid of a 3ft or 4 ft tank, or knows of one for sale. please let me know asap!
not sure how long my stand is going to hold for..

i really do need this pretty soon. if i dont come right soon i may have to sell off everything and leave this hobby:(

please help out if you can!

I would suggest going to exotics pets in boksburg. They have some really nice tanks with cabinates and sumps. And for around that price you could get a really niced size one as well

Furbs i know u want a set up as in yesterday, wont it be cheaper to build 1, or get some1 that can help u build 1. Im sure the gp reefers can give u ideas on cheap and reputabale place for all the material. Or u could speak to some1 (who has a healthy reef tank) to hold on to ur live stock till ur build is complete, coz lighting alone will probably come to half ur budget.

as for my lighting, i have 6x 39w t5s i can put into the new system. all the globes are brand new giesemann globes. (cost an arm and a leg!) so i plan on keeping those, or selling them if the tank comes with decent lighting.
depends on whats on offer really

i have approached idol marines, just waiting for a reply.
however, i did a little reading and i think their tanks are premium quality tanks that may demand more than i can afford..
    holding thumbs tho!

Furbz - in the meanwhile - try and get hold of pieces of wood to "prop up" your tank. And try and "build" a temoporary support structure below your tank - from the ground upwards.....

Hey Furbs, you're not interested in a cube? I have this starfire cube in the classifieds. It's a very neat setup ready to run (plumbing, return pump, RO topup, TS1 skimmer, etc), just needs a light and a flow pump. I'm willing to negotiate a lot as it needs to go. I need the space. PM me.
