    Hi all

I have been scuba diving since the late 80's and have for some time wanted to do the Marine tank thing.

About 4 months ago, a mate of mine decided to sell two complete tanks (lock, stock and barrel). In for a penny, in for a pound :)

I have setup one of them (below) and has been running for 3 months now. As I bought all his LR and live stock, I could not cycle the system, but all has gone well ... so far :whistling:

Still need lots of coral ect, but will get that when my tank is settled.

    Hello and welcome.

Well cycling an existing tank is not really needed. As you are moving live and functional rock over. Not a lot of die-off. Little bit yes, but should be back very quickly.

    Anyway. Enjoy.

For some reason I can get total rid of the of the GHA on this one rock.
I think it has to do with the fact that I used bio rock for the arches.
Having said that, it is better than a few months ago.

    Stunning! Absolutely stunning!!!

Is that the same Nennie in every photo, or do you have more than 1 in the tank?

Wow, you do not play around if you want to wait sooo long for a tank to look "better". It does look stunning and a huuuuge improvement since last year. Well done on such an awesome setup. Do you still have all the tangs younstarted off with?

    Thanks all on the remarks.
    I'm loving this hobby ...
...so does my wife and 2.5 year son ...
... who knows the name of about 6-7 fish already (his favourite is the fire gobie).
