Hi all.

I had quite a nice set-up in the UK a couple of years back and I've been back home now for a couple of years but putting off doing anything here until I was ready, wandered into a fish shop on the weekend and discovered I was ready.....

I have zero knowledge of local kit / livestock / rock or supplies so I'm trawling through the local sites to see where to start, and I stumbled on this forum - a piece of good fortune I think. I will probably order the bulk of my kit on-line because in my experience you get the better pricing but I'm willing to be advised differently.

I would like something in the region of 350l - 450l with a lot of liverock so I can build swim-thru's and still have a decent stretch of sand.

If anybody can give me some advice on a local fish shop in Jhb South if possible it would be appreciated. It would also be very helpful to know the main on-line suppliers.

I'm not to fond of online buying directly from overseas. Just due to warranty replacement issues. So much faster to jump into your car and go get what you want. 3 weekends back I had to run around on a Sunday afternoon for a return pump for my son. Certain things are better to get as close at home as possible.
