Evening. Am I right to think that this is a coral? If so can someone identify it for me please. I feed it frozen fish on a bi-daily basis. I need to know more about it.

Looks like a torch coral. Can also feed krill and mysis. How is your calsuim levels. Is it the first time the center open that big.

Morning. On the following link I found some info. Seems to be an Australian Single Polyp Sun coral.
    http://www.advancedaquarist.com/2011/12/corals
I have had it for about 2 weeks and feed it its of unfrozen fish, bi-daily.
The first time that I did feed it, it's mouth(?) opened this wide.
It seems fine in the tank, tenticals extend well. Early days, but it cetainly does not look as if it is dying.
My tank is only 11 months old, so it was a brave decision to buy it, but it is beautiful.
I need to feed the rest of the tank before hand, otherwise the cleaner shrimps try and has been successful to steal the food.
    Thanks for your coments.

Glad it is ok, very nice coral. Your tank in 11 months is mature enough for corals. All depends on your water stability. Calsuim, Ph, magnesium and ............
