    Can Anybody ID this Anemone for me From Agulhas area

    Looks like Anthopleura sp to me , possibly A michealseni) quite common in our area , some have unique colours

    Lets see what the others say

    ...The brooding anemone is a pale, fragile-looking anemone, having 24 long, transparent Tentacles...doubt it as you'r pic shows more than 24 tentacles...

    Will admit I thought it was the Beadlet Anemone, but the colouring is different, although they state that it comes in different colours...

    A nice book to have if you are keen on local ID is "Two Oceans"...gives you a good overview

    Thanks Frans I use the Two Oceans guide all the time,Its essential for me but it can't cover everything.
