Got a chance to get this wonderful fish. I think it is a Naso Brevirostris. Anyone kept one?

If it's similar to this then I would think it's a vlamingii.

Hi Nemos - I have the Naso Brevirostris. This one in the video is definitely a flamingii. The flamingii has a LOT more blue. The body shapes are nearly exactly the same. The Brevirostris is the unicorn tang. Mine is a bluish grey coloration - and the body shape is exactly the same as the flamingii.

Mine's unicorn horn is busy starting to just show...... I don't think that the flamingii tang has a unicorn horn though?

BTW: Lanzo had a flamingii - not sure if he still has the fish.....

Thanks JB either way i am happy. Will have to find him/her a temporary home till my biggish tank is done. We start the fish room building at the beginning of December. So hopefully end of Feb we can have it wet.

I think this should be a pic warning of the dangers of the size of some tangs in tanks.:P:biggrin:
