    Those are macro algae's, someone will soon give you the full name, but you can do research on macro algae so far. They are good nutrient exports in the tank and sometimes they are very attractive.

    welcome to masa, lovely macro algaes you have there. i have a small tank which i run with macro in it and a clown with a few corals, they can make a lovely display if you look after them and they are great for water quality :)

    Thanks for the welcome notes and replies! Ok so I've done some research and I think the green one is Codium and the red one is Asparagopsis taxiformis (A mouth full of random letters of the alphabet). What do you guy's think?

    it could also be false codium - if that makes any difference...:)
    did you collect it locally?
    (see PaulB's thread on doing unconventional things - he adds codium to his tank and says it lasts about 6 months)
