    Could someone help me ID this little guy on my live rock? It sucks itself in sometimes and then expands again.

    also dont think its aiptasia. ill go with a majano anemone. pretty sure. Can you get us a pic when its open? has it got any colour.

    @charl nope, thats pretty much how it looks color wise, its see through on the tube part and light blue white tinge on the edge. That is when it's open, sometimes it contracts to close, and when it does something like i assume grabbing for food it does this suck-in/return to how it looks in the pic motion very quickly.

    Looks like a partially closed feather duster worm to me... but picture isn't clear enough.

    Nope, siphon of a tunicate - probably an ascidian (sea squirt)
