    Hey guys

Caught this guy at Umhlanga last weekend.....

Beautiful fish , can anyone give me an Id on this guy?

Has a couple mean teeth on the front , never expected to catch something like this..

Put the dude back to enjoy life on our coastal reefs.

Just amazing you can get something like that from the beach.

These guys love SPS. In a tank with LPS and softies they are fine. I had one in one of my old systems, never did any harm.

Is a surge wrasse, or ladder wrasse when they juvies cause of the green and white ladder stripes. Is not a rainbow wrasse, the rainbow is the iridis.

spot on Magman, I meant surge, thats the scientific name for surge, Rainbow is indeed Halichoeres iridis
