ID this algae

    Can anyone identify this algae (I think) for me. It has a hard grass type feeling. It first appeared on some of the live rock and looked nice, but it is busy taking over the back panel of my tank. And it is not easy to remove - they are tough and does not come off easily.

    I don't think it is not a problem algae???

    Looks like Gracilaria at a glance. Quite a nice one.

    Thanks. I am sure it is. Googled it and the images look to be very similar.

    My tank far too small for a tang :(

    I have a Heraldi Angel that nips at it now and then, but cannot say if he is really eating any of it or not. Keeps him happy in any case.
