    haha yeah, purple digi coz all of our purple ones look like that :p .. Once upon a time mine was purple lol

    Could it be a Disticophora sp or lace coral? My two cents......:)

    No. Its a purple montipora digi as everyone said. They require extreme light levels to keep their purple colour.

    haha I'm glad you mentioned that as I moved it to the bottom of my tank so that it does not get light shock.

    How long do I need to wait before moving it higher up in the tank to full strength lighting?

    Initial placement in your tank will depend on the lighting levels that it came from. You start it off by placing it at a spot with similar light that it had and slowly move it higher over a period of say 2 moths. Give it time to acclimatise slowly to higher light levels. It will take some time to get its colour back if it gets enough light.
