    Hi all,

Please help me id these snails. From the internet searches I've done, I am in two minds as to whether they are good or bad. Some kind of whelk?

    Looks like Nassarius snails.
They are vultures. Going after dead matter. Feed a small piece of hake and they will pop out of the sand.

I see them sometimes on my zoas and now and then have issues with snail eggs on the zoas.

Could these be the egg layers or eating zoas?

They would be after detritus and other food caught up in between the zoa.
