i think the second is a little nennie. i think they are called strawberry nennies or something. They are usually pink though. Maybe this one is bleached. when someone who can tell better comes along you can be sure.

Maybe............it's out of the direct light....and could be a little bleached. The last two days it has exended much more than it has been. So maybe when it becomes more happy it will colour up? It's very small about the same dia. as a 10c piece.

First one, is that a snail? If yes, looks like a turbo family,
Take a photo of its underside and from above.
If opening is round, I'm pretty sure that it is safe.

If you got descend pics, I can sent it off to my Sea Shell Expert Auntie.

Problem is that where you got the rock from. If recently imported, it can be a snail from far far away. So that do make it a lot more difficult to id correctly.

    Hi Riaan,
It's def. a snail....was also thinking turbo family just needed confirmation. The rock IS recently inmported fiji blue....so in all likelyhood a visitor from afar!!

    Anyway........off to catch my crabs!!

ok, then one day, when it is dead for whatever reason. I want the shell.
Will organize to get it. It is not that I wish it is dead, but one day, I would want it.
It should be a nice part of the clean up crew.
