Hi Friends

Noticed a few new strange creatures growing in my tank, could some advise if this is normal? AND WHAT THEY ARE! THANKS IN ADVANCE

1. I saw long, thin, hair like "tentacles" coming out of a piece of my LR, they are about 3-4cm long and about the thickness of a hair, they look transparent with maroon colour rings on them, similar to a quid tentacle but are small, very small. It also caught a piece of shit as it passed....

2. A small cotton bud like thing on the rock, seems to have a centre "tube" in it? couldn't take a pic as it is too small and was near the back of the tank. Its about 5mm in length...

3. Last but not least, in the pic you can see 3 tubes growing, are these young tube worms?

Must have misread this:blushing:

1. as above could be spaghetti worm, or similar filter feeder.
2. Should be Sarcon sponge (not Sycon as wot i wrote)
3 - not feather duster - in fact never seen anything like it:lol:
