at first it was thought to be a zoa (it was much smaller)

this is what it has grown into, what is it?

still looks like a Green Button Polyps to me .. but let the more advanced guys respond.

Looks like a green button.

Note that these can take over, especially in a spot you do not want them. But if it is at a spot wher eyou want it to grow more, it will slowly expand into a nice colony.
 
thanks for the feedback guys. i'm also leaning toward Green button no that you guys mention it.

Luckily its on a small piece of rock which doesnt have much on it (apart from two other little zoa heads that have budded on their own) so i can hopefully remove that piece of rock if it gets outta hand.

do these spread around the tank wildly like xenia's do to all sorts of random places?
