ID Please

    Having endless trouble with trying to get rid of it, nothing seems to work.

    Looks like dinoflagellates. A pain to get rid of. Some people have had success in raising alkalinity to above 9.

    Somewhere in this 700 post thread they debunk the high ph idea as an experiment someone did with one of the big reef personalities (randy Holmes I think) . I read the whole damn thing because I have dinoflagellates and wanted to see LOTS of opinions. I am currently trying the peroxide route.
    Dinoflagellates my experience......h2o2 reefing tool!!!!!

    Tried peroxide, didn't work for me.

    I am dosing half the recommended dose, have quit water changes and cut down the lighting, especially the whites. It is decreasing but has not been eradicated yet. I dose twice a day while lights out.
