You can use anything you like to reach it. As long as you have good control over the tool. Gently wave the food over it's tentacles until you see that it took hold of it.Then let go. Make sure the pieces are small enough.

If you have shrimps, feed them a piece first, as they might come steal the carpet's piece before it could consume it.

Not sure, Being carnivores, I guess the carpet will eat the ON frozen shrimp. But that would mean slowly injecting the defrosted shrimpies over the nennie using a turkey blaster or syringe.

Do you not have any hake or lance fish?

Hope I did not confuse you. I meant that if you have any cleaner / fire / or other shrimps in your system, you should feed them first. The shrimps tend to scavenge any food regardless of where they find it. They can steal the fish from the anemone. (Mine did that a couple of times, Until I fed them first. Then they will happily sit and feast on their own piece of fish, and leave the nennie to eat in peace)

Oh, Ok, Then I only managed to confuse myself :tt2:
    All the best!

I feed my inferno 2x a week, not sure if a carpet have the same feeding requirements.
Just remember to use very small pieces of food. Rather feed 2 - 3 small pieces, than one big lump which it might refuse.
