    the problem with crabs is that they destroy the live rock to make holes where they can hide also while looking for food. others will nip on your corals...toss it

    I agree almost every hitch hiking crab is a bady so best to sump it

    Holes in the rock. mmm not good

    Was thinking that but the thing is, what if i wana put that rock back into the display.
    Then i dont know where the critter is.

    Put the rock in soda water that will flush it out but will flush everything out too but at least it's out of the rock.

    Put it in the sump, there's no reason to kill it.

    If you have any fish in the aquarium, then break open the crab as fish food, they will love it, especially wrasse, chaetodons and angelfish.
    If its not an acro crab or filter feeding crab, then none are any good, except for fish food, then they are great.

    ja i dont realy wana kill it. Thats not right.
    Dont want him in my sump, but i do have that setup in the garage.
    Ill just have to inspect the rock well if i wana use it.
    This could also work. i guess its not cruel cos its a part of nature.
    Atleast something good will come from this. Food
