Id please

    Hi all

    We found this worm in a rock that had lots of zoas on it and we started to notice that they were getting less and less, we then picked up the rock and it basically crumbled into dust in our had and inside was this worm.. [​IMG]

    Thats one freaky looking worm!
    First time Ive seen something like that!
    Doesnt look anything like a fireworm!

    It was about 3.4 cm - 4 cm and they colony of zoa were about 40 and now there are 5 left

    Looks sort of like a caterpiller, I see there is a species that can go underwater for short periods of time :whistling:

    Just be carefull with it.
    I got quite a bad sting from a worm in my tank the other day, not a lot of fun.:blush:

    O agree,it is ugly. Lol pm i send you lots of zoas. Blue.oranje with yellow in. My red still to small peace. Dark green, light lime green. Sorry for your zoas.:(

    You find this worm, not sure exact specie but looks similar on the rock pools.
