    lol thanks belinda. I was hopeing they are good. they have nice colours. on them. will do some more reading.

    It's Botryocladia. Quite a slow growing algae and a lot of fish will eat it. Looks nice if you can get it to take off though.

    Cool, thanks. Lol the taking of part is not a problem I have loads actually they popup everywhere.

    The top one only...? They do look like it's forming "berries"..

    The bottom one could be Nemastoma. Resembles Botryocladia but a lot thinner and more fragile. Quite a lot of species in both genera though and some look awfully similar to each other. Difficult to be sure when they're so small.

    Ok thanks...I was asking as I wasn't sure if I should "ID" according to current "shape" when they are tiny.. as I wasn't sure if all algae retain the same shape when small...I'm under the impression they do...when you said Botryocladia I thought I wrongfully ID'ed it according to "shape"..:blush:..
