    at first glasce the word mojano comes to mind but a better pic will allow for easier identification...

    I go with aiptasia. Mojano got slightly thicker fingers. But anyway, both are evil pests. Kill it NOW.

    I use Vinegar that I inject into them slowly.

    Products available are Joe's Juice or Aiptasia-x. Or just search here on MASA how to kill them.

    I had about 8 of these buggers and used AIPTASIA-X and they are gone,hopefully for good....:biggrin:

    It definitely looks like aptaisia! It's a HUGE PEST. Believe me. I was the "aptaisia" king. They sting your corals to death and multiply like crazy! Mine even bred sexually. I had thousands of tiny aptiasia babies forever floating around!

    Jip Rookie - now that we have a clearer pic - this is indeed a Majano anemone. They do not proliferate AS quickly as the aptiasia (or glass) anemone, but they still do, and they tend to sting your corals to death.
