    Non-photosynthetic gorgonian. It won't last without a very specialised system, unfortunately.

    Gorgonians are on the do not take list. It's best to check your permit before collecting anything.

    people realy must learn to ID first, collect second. I know its hard to do and even in tanks Id's are not always easy, but there seems to be a growing trend of collecting unsuited tank mates from SA recently.

    That gorgonian has a chance of survival IF you learn about its feeding requirements and have a systems with filtration that can handle that kind of feeding, if its a warm water species (which Lord Blackadder tells me it isnt) RIP pretty coral.

    Welllll, not really. It's also a coldwater species. :whistling:

    oooops, sorry i thought it was a warm water and was speaking on general terms with non photosynthetics, I amended my post above, thanks for the correction
