ID Please

    I hope someone can tell me what this is...
    Its the first one I found on the substrate. There are a couple more hanging upside under 1 of the rock ledges.

    Pic is not that good so could be a few things.

    Did it just appear one day or did it slowly grow?

    does it open up to a flower type thing? to result in almost looking like a palm tree?

    It has grown over time but it only appeared on the substrate on Wednesday. I guess maybe it got knocked off the rock or something. There are others growing under a legde.

    Never seen it open up, even at night.

    Is it not a pineapple or q tip sponge?

    Ok if has not opened up then it is not aiptasia. It is most likely a sponge or truncate. Both good guys.

    Had some aptasia last week and got a peppermint shrimp to sort that out. Thx for the help. Will try get another better picture.
