    and they look just like zoas! Good one Keegan... just noticed that there is no mat and that they are growing individually.. is that how you identified them?

    Lol yeah dude, Plus I had a few in my tank.

    Why do you want to get rid of them? they are safe and from my experience they dont grow wild and out of control..
    But if you wana, just try and scoop them out with a spoon.

    not sure bought a new setup and the rock came with them on

    so they wont sting other corals? there are about 20 or so of them

    Not that I know of, but they do move around and sometimes move on top of zoas and annoy them. But not sure about the stinging.

    Yip the rock anemone...one of my clowns like to lay on them..and he sometimes spews his food over them..like feeding habit i think..i have about 50 + on a rock..different colour mouths..they are pretty harmless..
