    It is in the centre of the photo and looks like a mushroom

    Looks like a ricordea or possibly rhodactis i think - how big is it?

    Wee-Man it is still small about our 10c piece size.

    Thalion I have not observed it in the night but will do.

    yes aiptasia

    Yes aiptasia get it out, i would remove the rock and use boiling hot water and inject it into the rock on the spot whear the aiptasia is it works

    yes ro but normal tap water boiled will do no harm at all

    My "educated" guess... on the left looks like "clove coral" of some sort, on the right looks like a "hairy mushroom."

    No chance of that coming back again. I had a good couple on some LR I got in the beginning. Non left now. That was the first one I have seen in months and I am thinking it came with a few pieces of LR I got the other day. I use Cape Coral Care "Terminator" and it really works. Have never had any side effects and I have killed them right at the base of a leather already.

    If you happen to have some smallish pieces of livrock with aiptasia on, pls bring them around to feed my coperband.
