    Hi Jaques...+/- 1.5 cm....weird not sure if it could be starfish though as i dont have / saw any

    Thanks Frans - some more questions:
    - how does this "thing" feel like? hard? soft? slimy?
    - does it have "bristles"?
    - do you see ANY MOVEMENT at all?
    - does it have "hairs"?

    the best way i can describe the shape is like a mermaids purse....also not possible unless my juvie bamboo can produce eggs on its own:lol: thanks jacques

    Thanks, Frans. OK - interesting - I would rather suggest to monitor the "thing". Monitor it for at least a week or so...... See if ANYTHING happens?

    Shouldn't the spanish dancer have more frills to it even if it died?

    I still say it's a part of a starfish arm... or maybe a worm epitoke. Starfish arms can wiggle long after they have detached from the starfish.... I once had one that wiggled for about a week post being torn off.
