    Looks like a polyclad flatworm:

    polyclad flatworm - Google Search

I've had a few in my old tank. Basically harmless detrivores IIRC. I come down one night to find one had wrapped itself around a prawn head I had left for the fish to pick at. Very creepy looking things, but cool. When I tore down my tank, I discovered another smaller one, so there may have been a breeding population.

I also think it's a polyclad flatworm. There's probably no sure way to know what it eats. It could be a harmless detrivore, or it could be predatory. If it's predatory, it might be very picky about what it eats and if it doesn't find what it eats in your tank, it will die. If it were me, I'd just leave it alone... on the theory that if it's predatory, I'll see it parked somewhere, eating its prey (and then remove it). If it's a scavanger, it will be always moving around, scavaging.
