    Hey chaps
    Got this crab out my DT is he good or bad can i leave him in or put him in the sump or what

    and then these lil guys are starting to grow everywhere what are they?

    1. Sump the crab
    2. They are a type of fan worm (experts can tell names) - nice to have - populations tend to boom and bust from my experience
    3. Yep - Aiptasia, get some Joes Juice to control them early on

    Ok super i thaught so just wasnt sure about them been in the sump hahaha ill sort them out this weeknd

    is ther any other methods of geting rid of Aiptasia?? joes juice really expensive for 1 lil piece of aiptasia?

    That crab looks more like a spider...and nasty...gives me the shivers...

    He looks like one of those hairy acro crabs. I don't like those guys and sump him. The aiptasia you have in the sump need to be sorted out ASAP before it gets into your display. They are one the glass so you can srcape them off and remove them or zap them with a kalk slurry

    ya im gonna take water out chamber, turn return off. srcap him off and get the rest of the water out make sure none of him is let then replace water...

    R100 is worth it bud, it lasts and I have found that other methods, like lemon juice and any other method where you inject just breaks the Aip up and guess what? lots more Aiptasia in your tank - I tried Lemon juice injected with a syringe, kalk (my own mix, which granted may not have been fantastico) Vinegar and more

    Do it right first time, you wont regret it

    Inject them with boiling water. Be carefull though because the boiling water will kill anything else it comes in contact with too. Your coraline should go white in that little spot but will grow back later.
