ID please friend or foe?

Hi everyone,

I noticed this little guy in my tank shortly after I added a new piece of rock to my system with some corals on it.

Is it
Asterina sp. Starfish?



If so should I eradicate?

My system got loads of them. Without any issues. Only problem I had was that they ate up my cheato ball. OK, it is a softy dominated system.

Let em multiply - gives you a great chance to acquire a harlequin shrimp

Lol I have a bristle star so harlequin shrimps are not the best idea haha

why, bristle stars should not bother harlequin shrimps. I had them both in the same tank before.

Unless it is that big green bristle star.
