ID pest ... hydriod / weird aptasia ?

    Got these bad boys in the display tank multiplying and taking over the live rock bit by bit. They are quite small...the "stick and head" is probably 5-10mm tall and 2-3mm wide. It also has fuzzy tentacles. See the majority of them in the shaded parts of the tank.

    Perhaps a type of aptasia or hydriod?

    Have asked a few guys at the various fish stores but no one knows what this is or have seen it. For what its worth, enough Aptasia X sorts it out...but then again enough of that will kill anything.

    Looks like a hydroid to me.

    Instead of using the glorious, all killing Aptasia X all the time, anything that might eat these guys?

    Yip!! Looks Like a Hydroid Type! Got some in my System Too :m23:
    I'm Looking for Peppermint Shrimps at the the moment, heard
    they will sort them out!

    Thanks. Planning on getting a few Peppermint Shrimps to help with the Aptasia as well. Hopefully they will still have an appetite for these after the main course.
