    Rather put the LR in the sump, suspend it above the sand or bottom,
    put food below it.
    He comes down,
    drop down,
    eat,
    cannot reach back up,
    you remove rock.
    You flush toilet.
    End of the story,

    well I hope it is that easy.

    hi,
    i have one as well, i sumped it after posting on MASA.
    I took a big empty chutney bottle with a prawn in it, lay it 45 deg against the rock the crab was hiding in, did this for about 2 nights and it was caught.

    :lol::lol:
    mine is just smaller than a r2 coin and non aggro at this stage.
    what i could get from the net is that it can go to about 8cm in a tank.
    Problem is that it can nib at corals and apparently it will catch some of the smaller fishes, especially during night when the fish might be sleeping.

    oh fella you have so much to learn....one tank is NEVER enough, 16 is getting close and once youve done with pico, nano, medium and large you always need a pond to snorkel in....there is no limit to salt water holding vessels and the things we like to put in them.:p

    I think juilius Malema is a perfect name for a hairy beady eyed aggressive crab, even moves and toi to'is like the real deal:)

    set that one foot up and make it a species specific for the crab, i am sure you'll enjoy him and it might get used to coming out in the day too?
