Want to know some more about this Anemone that found his way into my tank from amongst a bunch of Zooanthids that were collected on the eastern seaboard intertidal zone of the Indian ocean. Although his been doing realy well and made himself at home right away, i was wondering what his needs might be, food light etc?
He is still very small +_ 5mm across, bright orange. I have often seen these in the Natal region amongst the rock pools, attached to rocks.[IMG]

mmmm I'm thinking rock anemones they pack a wallop if a fish gets too near them and I doubt very much anything will host in it (might be eaten before it knows whats what)

I have the same from the natal rock pools, they do not spread or do any form of damage in my experience, in fact they seem to fade away - may be the higher temps in our tropical tanks

    Hammy, welcome to MASA!

I've looked through hundreds of anemone photos and can't come up with an ID on this one. I'm going to keep looking!
