ID Needed:Polyp like growths

    so I have these polyp like growths on my LR......at first I was thinking Aptasia.......But all of the growths came out at the same time and seem to only come out when lights are on.They are also only growing on the "coloured" velvety parts of my live rock.The last few pics of the ones on the red velvet suddenly appeared out of nowhere within a couple of hours.

    Good?....Bad?.......or OMG?

    Looks like a cluster of Fan Worms to me.. They are Good and pretty to look at

    I doubt its fan worms as it has a 'base' like star polyps covering the rock...But it looks very intresting in real life...

    het my gat afgeskrik.....vanmiddag was daar niks op die pienk velvet nie en toe ek nou lig wil afsit toe sien ek die mat van vingertjies.....lol

    Heliopora. It's the coral that makes up the live rock. Normally it comes in dead, but sometimes you do get live pieces as well. The bluish parts you see on the live rock is the dead coral skeleton.

    Its some kind of SPS if im not mistaken, you will see a lot of this on the Fiji live rock.

    Yip its Heliopora. Took me ages to ID mine when I just started. Very nice coral.
