    yep, looks like aiptasia, nuke it before they spread, i'd remove that rock if possible

    Not in my tank, it's not aptasia. It does not restracting. Looks more full as well, it's something else. Thanks guys

    They can only retract if there is a hole to retract into.

    We do have a very similar local anemone in Natal. Called Natal anemone. duh.
    Anyway, they are small and a bit more darker with a shade of green in them. Surprisingly I found some of them underneath some rocks. They do not care that much about light either. Got a couple in my tank.

    yes. The Natal anemone definitely.
    They will spread slowly over time. But not in numbers to any you.

    However, the colonial anemone do become a problem. They the same small size but as they form continuous mats they can take over.
